I thought about postponing, but I'd only be busier the longer I worked there, so I decided to get my civic responsiblity out of the way. <br /> <br />On the first Friday after I started, my boss piled me up with work for the next week. I told her I'd get to it next Thursday. She was miffed that I wouldn't get it finished by Monday or Tuesday, so I explained that I'd be out until Thursday with <a href="http://www.timeoutny.com/features/238/238.ft.courthouse.html">jury duty</a>.
